Are you kidding me? No, that’s not fairy dust. It’s just begun, my friends. We’re supposed to get 10 – 12 inches. Heavy, wet snow on still green vegetation = bad for the vegetation. I’ve lived in the Midwest and the Northeast most of my life and I’ve never seen snow this early. Oh, and I’m using far more colorful language than I used in the title of this post.
Zinnias rescued from the first frost.
The last of the roses and rose buds. I cut them yesterday afternoon when I heard about the coming snowstorm.
I have to go out soon and shovel. Don’s at work and I want to make sure he can get up the driveway. I’m also going to try to go out periodically and shake some of the snow off the lower branches on the willow and the plants.
I just took the first photo before I started this post and now there is much more snow on the ground.
