Hi Claudia! I am once again looking at all the wonderful items in your beautiful home and of course the doll house! It makes me so happy and you are so amazing! I miss you and hope someday I can see your house in person! I almost went to New York this week but could not after all! It is also so freezing there I would have been inside all week! I am coming in the Spring in April. I have started to make miniature gardens for this wonderful little cafe (Mary’s) up in the canyon where I live in Sierra Madre, Ca. (by Pasadena). It is fun for the children when they sit on the patio and eat. I also get some great ideas from your wonderful houses (doll and cottage) and where to shop by looking at your website! So much love to you and Don! How wonderful that Rick is close! I have been teasing him a lot since he moved. How fun to have a big reunion in April if everyone is around! Thank-you for your inspiration Claudia, and your beautiful art! Love, Debbie

Oh darn it! I’m sorry your trip has been delayed! We were excited about seeing you. But we’ll be around in April, too. Don will be on Broadway in Escape to Margaritaville! And we love having Rick and Doug just 5 minutes away. Miss you, my friend!

Hello Claudia. I am a new visitor to your blog (via Susan Branch). I’ve been binge reading your McCoy and egg cup collection posts, really enjoying them. But these quilts require a response because your fabric combinations are so rich and beautiful. My eyes love looking at them. I am also intrigued by Maggie Rabbit and her lovely boots.. Did you design them? I moved from the Berkshires to Florida 28 years ago, but I brought my aesthetics with me. Your blog is a taste of home. Thank you for sharing.
Claudia says
No, Maggie Rabbit is a design by the wonderfully talented Alicia Paulson of the Posy Gets Cozy blog. She designed the whole thing and then sold kits with the pattern and fabric. I’ve made two of them now and I’m up for a third! Thank you so much for your kind words, Leslie. They mean a great deal to me!
