Scout’s Porch

September 30, 2012 at 8:47 am by Claudia

A typical afternoon with Miss Scout on the porch:

She’s very busy. There’s a lot of policing to be done. It’s exhausting.

Happy Sunday.

Linking to Elaine’s Sunny Simple Sunday.

The winner of a copy of The Unfinished Garden is Claudia (not me, another Claudia!)

The winner of the LoveFeast Velvet Pumpkin giveaway is Sally. Sally, I’ll be in touch with you shortly and I’ll send your information on to the ladies at LoveFeast.

Congratulations!

Claudia, she is so beautiful. I love the ones of her where she looks like she is talking. And of course the final shot and accompanying commentary is pricelss. LOL!

Hope your Sunday is blessed in return…

Our dog barks at anything that goes by. She is crazy but she does quiet down once they pass. I love the slate stones on your porch. Hope Scout isn’t too tuckered out.

How adorable – and tiring, too, huh, Scout :) You know, this very much looks like a side porch on a house right around the corner from me …

Scout looks as my grandmother would have said ” full of vim and vinegar” this morning. She looks happy guarding her porch.

Scout is a beautiful girl Claudia, She has a lovely porch to patrol and also a cozy resting place, She also probably has a gorgeous view while she’s patrolling.

I read that you got your hair cut.. Would you honor us with a picture of you and your new “do”.. I really need to get mine cut.. Have been putting it off and think maybe next week I’ll get it done..

    Have a lovely Sunday.

Glad Scout has a safe haven to get some fresh air…when she isn’t on a lead. I’m sure she takes her ‘policing’ very seriously.
    ….enjoy your Sunday, Pat

I do believe Scout is the true property owner, and quite happy rules. I love the tinges of pink on her nose. My son used to say that our dog had licked the black off of her nose.

I wondered if she enjoyed being out there, Claudia, and it’s clear she does! And yes, it must be exhausting to be “on duty”. What a good girl! She’s earned her rest.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
