She’s hanging out in the den for the time being.
Just a quick post (written on Saturday evening) because I have to leave to get the bus early Sunday morning and won’t have time to write any kind of post then. Sunday bus options are fewer so it looks like I’ll get in at least an hour before I need to be there, but better safe than sorry. If I leave it until later, and the bus is even 10 minutes late, I’ll not make rehearsal in time. And I panic at the thought of not being on time. I’m one of those ‘it’s better to be early” people.
So there you go.
All day today (Saturday) I’ve thought it was Sunday. All day long. What will I think Sunday is, I wonder?
I hope you’re all having a lovely holiday weekend.
Happy Sunday.

Love your new ornament. I hope you had a good trip to the city and that rehearsals went well. I’m hoping to decorate my tree with the Grands this afternoon but other then that I’m being a snuggle at home kind of gal!

I’m snuggling at home today. Tired from yesterday and still have sinus problems.

I get very stressed if I think I’m going to be late!
Chris K in Wisconsin says
Hope you had a good day in the city. We are on the northern edge of a snow event. Hoping it stays down towards the Illinois state line as they are predicting right now. Seems they are wrong about as often as they are right.
My husband is conducting the community choir in a Christmas Contata today. Many rehearsals since Oct, so I am hoping for no snow or just a dusting if anyone needs it for the atmosphere, I guess. Thus the season begins. It seems like we were just packing Christmas up a week ago. (It also feels like time flies a lot faster as I get older.) Have a good evening!
Claudia says
I hope you missed out on the snow. It looks like a BIG event, from what I’m seeing on Instagram and my weather app.
You’re right – it seems like yesterday that it was Christmas. Time moves much too quickly these days!
Donnamae says
As Chris stated…the snow appears to be going south of us. The reality is, that until this snow event is over, we won’t truly know?
I, too, would rather be early than late. Guess it stems from my childhood…the early bird catches the worm and all that. Hope today went well for you! ;)
Claudia says
My parents were always prompt. So was I. And I invariably had friends who were always late and that drove me nuts!
Wendy T says
Claudia, hope you made it into the city with time to spare. I’m also an early person, but unfortunately, my kids got the “just in time, whew” attitude from their dad. I lose track of dates, more so than days. I’m already receiving invites for Christmas get togethers. What? What date is today?!?!
Claudia says
Too soon for Christmas stuff, Wendy!
Nancy Blue Moon says
Hope your trip to the city went well today and you are back home and resting now!
Claudia says
It went well. I’m back and tired out. Today I’m taking it easy.
