Dear Claudia, I live in Brasil and read your, as well as your Sister’s Blogs, everyday! LOVE both ;-) Question? And suggestion! With this “outrageous” decision by the US Congress, on Health Insurance, which will affect “Little Z’s” treatments considerably, can you, with your extensive “fans”, together with your Sister’s huge list of “followers”, set up a “crowdfunding” assistance program for Little Z’s treatment payments? Something like PATREON???? Which is a continuou payments program. We could pay a monthly fee, at each one’s option. I believe that would surely help Little Z, and your Sister ;-)
That’s such a sweet idea Cora! Let’s see if it passes the Senate. If it doesn’t or if it goes forward with Medicaid intact, we’ll be okay. But it not, we will seriously consider this. You are such a love for thinking of our Little Z. I know Meredith is nervous about what could happen, as are we.

I am the author of a new novel, entitled DEATH IN PANAMA, which is available on Amazon and other sites. The story is loosely based on a murder trial that I prosecuted while servicing as an Army Judge Advocate in Panama in the early 1980s. You’ve inspired me! I have my grandmother’s old buffet and I love it dearly. But we are moving into a new (to us) home soon, and I will be working to repurpose the buffet into an island with an overhang for bar stool seating. That should solve the space issue in my kitchen! Claudia, would you share your deer repellant spray recipe ? My daughter in law loves to garden and deer are a problem. They have their vegetable garden fenced in, but not all their flowers.
