Hello. Happy Sunday afternoon to you. I was very interested in reading your blog. You have a delightful cottage but I would not call it small by English standards. My house in the south of England is very small with a tiny back garden. However it gives me a lot of pleasure and i love pottering in the garden to get the most out of it. I live near London and Windsor so it is a very busy area.
I am 68 now and have 2 children now left home of course. I like knitting, reading, baking and theatre. Like most people I dont have as much time as I would like to indulge my hobbies- I dont know why as I am retired.
Anyway that’s all for now. Roast pork in the oven which now needs attention so must away. It was nice to read all about you!

Don’t let the photos of the exterior of the cottage fool you! They always make it look larger than it is. Two small bedrooms, a bath and a half, a small living room, small den and a kitchen with not enough cupboards. It’s small. The open living room and kitchen combination help to open up the downstairs. The porch helps in the summer and we have an acre and a half. Nevertheless, I love it. I, of course, would love to live in England, like you! Thank you for stopping by.
