A healing weekend: I caught up on sleep, ate solid food, read 2 books, cuddled with my husband and dogs. I feel much better. We ventured out a bit. Sunday we drove to the bookstore and early Monday evening we took a short little drive around our neighborhood. The mountain ridge show in the above photo is the same one that we see from our front porch.
A well-known horse breeding farm is just down the road:
It was dinner time.
Are they not beautiful?
I could watch them for hours.
It felt good to get out of the house. I was going a little stir crazy.
Thank you for all your well wishes. You warm my heart! It is comforting, indeed, to know that many of you have gone through this and have had the surgery with no ill effects. I’m more and more inclined to have the surgery but I will make no decisions until I discuss it in more detail with my doctor. In the meantime, I’m being very careful about diet. I don’t want to go through another attack ever again.
Since I’ve now been home over two weeks and still have not tackled the overgrowth around here (which came about because husband didn’t mow certain areas of the property) you know what I’ll be doing this week. Oh joy.
Oh, and did I mention that I’ve not had coffee for 9 days?
