Not long after we moved into Mockingbird Hill Cottage, my father surprised me with this painting. He had painted it from a photo I sent him. I am lucky to have several of my Dad’s paintings, but this one may be my favorite. He knew what a dream come true it was – finally living in our own home – and this painting is priceless to me.
