Cottage8 Reveal in Monday

August 23, 2009 at 11:41 am by Claudia

Happy Sunday, everyone! We are feeling particularly lazy today – more humid, rainy weather here in the Hudson Valley. I have to rouse myself soon. There are things that need to be done! Thought I’d tell you about a reveal that will occur tomorrow. The lovely Jennifer of The Old Painted Cottage will reveal her newly renovated and decorated house – which she and her husband call Cottage8. Jennifer has impeccable style and taste and I, for one, can’t wait to see what she has done! She promises guests, gifts and fun – so stop on by.

Have a great day.

Hi Claudia! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!! I have been having so much fun reading yours!! Your swap with Elyse was wonderful! She is so sweet. I LOVE your pillows you make! They are so pretty and I was so jealous of the clown Charlotte doll you sent her!

I live in Midland Michigan, it is about 20 minutes from Saginaw. Where did you live here? I was born here and have pretty much been here all my life, lol!

Thank you so much for your kind words on my blog. That was so sweet of you and meant so much to me. Blogging is so wonderful and there are just so many wonderful women here, it is amazing! You are a doll, thank you so much Claudia!!
    Love and hugs,
    Amy

Thanks for telling me about it. I shall put it on my calendar to check out! It’s 3:30 p.m. here, still hot, and I get so sleepy this time of day for some reason!

    Hi Claudia,
We’re feeling the same way today. I get frustrated because I know there’s so much to do, but then again the lazy days of Summer won’t last forever so we’ll enjoy the day of kicking back and listening to the breeze. Enjoy the rest of your beautiful Sunday. See you at Jennifer’s tomorrow, I am really looking forward to it as well.

Thanks for the chat today, you have helped me so much.

Today was beat the mold and meldew day outside on my porch. I smell like mildew cleaner but things are a lot cleaner now.

My poor Rays lost, good luck to your Sox.

    XO, Mere

Claudia, your new look is lovely!
Sounds like you had a relaxing Sunday. I spent a good part of the day on the road, driving back home from my sister’s house. She lives near the mountains, so the scenery is spectacular. My three sisters and I plan a “Sisters Retreat” twice a year, and this one was wonderful.

Thank you for the kind comments about my latest post. I had to schedule it to post on it’s own, since I was away……so I’m just now reading comments.

    Best Wishes,
    Kay

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
