Still feeling crappy. Head congestion and chest congestion. But I’ve been sleeping a lot and, after my sleep-deprived week, it’s most welcome. I made it out to the grocery store yesterday where I promptly ran into someone I knew and had to refrain from hugging him. I kept a distance of about 4 feet between us, which, I’m sure, he appreciated.
Don has a day off and he just told me he might go to the Museum of Natural History. Sounds like a good plan. The added bonus is that it’s close to Central Park, so he can go there as well on this sunny day. (Three in a row!)
I never know the answer to this question. When is Easter? Looking at my little bunny egg cozies brought that to mind this morning. Gosh, I love these two. Mother and son, always holding hands – now, isn’t that sweet?
Not much on my agenda today, of course, as I’m housebound. I’m just going to take it easy.
I’ve been hearing the call of our mourning doves since I got up at 6:30. Heavenly music to yours truly.
Happy Monday.
Well, I hear that Easter is April 1st—unless that’s a joke! You have had bunnies on the brain for a few days now and I enjoy seeing them. So cute. Hope your crud lets go pretty soon, but enjoy your downtime, too.
I’m trying to, Shanna! But I don’t have much energy.
Lack of sleep these days runs me down in no time. Feel better soon!
Thanks, Vicki!
Easter is April 1st. My few bunnies are out and I’m enjoying them. We are going to have some really bad storms here this afternoon. Hoping you can just rest and feel better.
Stay safe during those storms, Linda!
Feel better soon! Down-time is a good thing in that journey. The sunshine is a most wonderful thing. It helps quite a bit in this otherwise gloom and doom arena in which we are living.
No snow to shovel, and no lawn to mow, so you can rest your weary self and heal. Hope you (otherwise) have a good Monday.
I get restless when I’m stuck in the house. I was going to try to run an errand, but I ended up being too tired.
Your body knows what it needs…lots of sleep to get better, and the usual….hydrate, rest, don’t skip eating healthy foods even if you may not have an appetite. Put on ETM music and putter!
I’m eating. I do have an appetite!
you’ve had lots of stress … the weather and the dress hunt and the constant shoveling!!!
no wonder your body has said “ENOUGH ALREADY!” I’m shutting you down for awhile!
just rest dear bean. you deserve to. xo
I’m resting, but I wish I had a bit more energy, Tammy!
welcome to my world. only in my world it’s called being old.
in yours it’s called being sick! lol xo
but I’m not complaining. it still beats the alternative of not being here at all! :)
xo
Claudia, Praying you get well soon. Then you can do your porch and garden fun things. Plus go see your sweet man. Glad you made it to the store. I love your bunnies. I have never seen any like that before. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I can’t wait until it’s nice enough to work outside! Thanks, Susie!
Hope you feel better soon. Today is a good day for Don to stroll through Central Park. I heard the Hudson Valley will not be getting much of the storm. I hope Queens does not get much snow. Get plenty of rest. Curl up with a good book or watch a movie.
Marilyn
I will. Don went to the museum and walked a bit in the park but he’s pretty tired after last week, so he went home!
Love your bunnies… Hope you get to feeling better! Have a good one…Leticia
Thank you Leticia!
Hope the rest you are able to get right now does the trick and you’ll soon feel well again. Take it easy!
X Chy
I will. I guess I have no choice, Chy!
Your little bunnies are adorable. Hope you begin to feel better soon.
The sunshine is going to be coming soon and there is nothing worse than a summer cold or sickness. Get rid of that asap. Thanks for sharing today even though you didn’t feel well.
We have a nor’easter coming tomorrow so sunshine is not on the agenda!
It stinks that you feel so crappy after having so much fun Claudia…Sounds like Don had a wonderful day…I loved when I was at the Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Modern Art…Those little bunnies are so cute!
Thank you, Nancy!
