Decorating is exhausting!

December 13, 2008 at 6:53 pm by Claudia

Oh not for me, for them. Supervising, sniffing, barking, smelling the tree…being told to “get away from the tree, your tail is knocking off the ornaments” – its a lot for a dog to deal with. Happily, they have the sofa to themselves at the moment. Do you think they’ve been good enough for a visit from Santa?

Your dogs are quickly becoming favorites with me. What a couple of charmers!

I enjoy reading your just read book list. I read Garden Spells, and I’ve just brought home another book of hers from the library. I think it’s called The Sugar Queen, but I’m not sure, that’s exactly right. I hope it’s good. Have you read The Gurnesey Literary Club and Potato Peel Society? That one was just recommended to me. It’s written in letters. I was going to reserve it, but there are almost 400 people waiting for it at our library. I’m not sure I have the patience for that!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
