Equal Time

September 11, 2009 at 10:17 am by Claudia

Someone was jealous….she insisted that I take her picture. Oh, those freckles on her ears…love them! And so ends the Week of the Dog at Mockingbird Hill Cottage.

I love the “back of the head shots” you snapped of your pets…too cute! And those freckled ears are adorable!

Claudia, those freckles are priceless! Wouldn’t those two back-head shots make wonderful photos for the wall? Too cute!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Hey Claudia

Just now getting a chance to stop by for PS from last week! It’s been hectic in our neck of the woods!!

So, I got the chance to read all of you news in one shot.

The orchard looks wonderful – I’m headed to our local orchard in the am with my nieces. It’s a tradition that we buy apples for sauce, pies and cakes and have a blast!

Love you pups they are soo sweet. And those flowers are beautiful, what treat roses for no special reason – Enjoy!

Too cute! I have a picture like this of my Pomeranian for my profile picture. It started as a joke to my family members that have horses and used pictures of their horses heads from the saddle as their profile picture. I don’t know if I can bear to ever change mine now, I’ve grown attached to seeing her little head everywhere!

    Hello,
Even though I am not participating (as I missed the deadline yet again), I am doing an organic visit to wish my friends old and new, Happy Pink Saturday (or just HS if you’re not participating…)

What’s an organic visit’? It’s one that takes a natural course through an almost viral form. I’m visiting people YOU have had visit, and then visiting people they have had visit, and so on! Great way to reach out and talk to people.

Your post was delightful, HPS –

    Hi Claudi,
I can’t believe it’s Saturday again already! It took me a while to get by after a busy Labor Day weekend and a week with a sick daughter.

Your dogs are so sweet! We also have a rescue with issues. I feel bad for her because she is always too nervous to be happy. We continue to work with her…

I read through a few pots. Your clean porch, the roses, the view form the apple orchards ~ all beautiful.

And aren’t blogging friends just the best. The little dollhouse hutch is adorable!

    Have a wonderful weekend.
    Dawn

What’s not to love about such a warm, round, furry little head and ears, with or without freckles? I love the innocence of your photos. Very handsome doggies, indeed.

    Best Wishes,
    Kay

I got on your beautiful blog and read all the way back til May when we left San Diego. The stray kitty, your new dollhouse, Don playing at the Rooster, your garden, the friends you have made by blogging, your quilts and crochet, Scout and Riley, the things that inspire you and your work, when you take it all in you have a glorious full life. I love and miss you like crazy.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
