Feeling Yucky

December 18, 2009 at 1:36 pm by Claudia

Well, my friends, I am definitely feeling under-the-weather. My wish to get rid of this quickly has apparently been denied. I don’t have the energy to share much with you today. Trying to save money this year, I bought a faux wreath from Michael’s for a couple of dollars, added some trim and a big bow that I already had. Nothing earth shattering, but I can recycle this every year and that’s a good thing.

Oh, I just got a whiff of our Christmas tree – that must mean I am not totally stuffed up! I’m grateful for the little things, at this point. Have a stress-free day, everyone.

Take good care of yourself. Take it easy. Nice wreath from Michael’s. Nice ribbon and embelishments.

Don’t you love the smell of Christmas trees!

Claudia, I’m so sorry you don’t feel well this year. Do you know, I used to be allergic to Christmas trees. Do you think you might be? I got a sinus infection every year at Christmas time till my sister figured it out. Having my face up in it to decorate was what set it off. I could be in people’s homes with trees and not feel bad, but decorating a live tree was something I just couldn’t do.

    Feel better…

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

Oh Claudia.. Your wreath looks beautiful!.. but I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well. Curl up under your toasty warm blankets, throw in some of your favorite Christmas movies, and just rest up as much as you can! A prayer is already on the way for you! ~tina

Well, you have new pretties to gaze at while you’re under the weather at least. I always have to look at that half-full glass! Don’t you stress out about being sick around the holidays. Treat yourself to goodies instead!

Claudia, I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well. I love the decorating you have done for Christmas. All of your wreaths and the tree are very pretty. We are about to get another spell of really cold weather and may even have a white Christmas next week.

    Take care!

Darn it……….I’m so sorry you’ve got the punies……It’s never a good time, but Christmas is already so packed full of things, there’s really no time to do what you should do to take care of yourself………I hope you’re feeling much better soooooon!

Your wreath turned out just great. I bought five at Goodwill yesterday for 99 cents each. I’m going to use three for the cemetary………Mum, Dad and Sister……then the other two will be for the sides of the garage door. Not until next year though……..I’m out of gas!

    Feel better soon!

    Huggies,
    Spencer

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
