Feisty Riley

August 14, 2012 at 9:27 am by Claudia

Good morning, everyone! Not enough sleep last night – Mr. Riley was especially feisty during the early am hours and decided he was thirsty and that barking would be the appropriate thing to do in order to secure some water. Now, I limit Riley’s water after 8 pm because he sometimes has a bit of a problem with control.

But he was having none of it. The first time he barked, I let him outside, thinking he had to take care of business. Nope. So I succumbed and gave him some water.

Apparently I didn’t give him enough. Two hours later: more barking. More water was given. This time the amount of water seemed to meet with his approval. Now? He’s sleeping peacefully and I feel all gritty-eyed and irritable. Thanks, Riley.

There will be some changes happening to the blog very soon. Just wanted to give you a heads up. I’m excited about the whole thing, but it’s a big deal and it’s taking a lot of time. I’ll keep you informed as the week goes on. I’ll try to post every day, but I may not, so don’t be concerned. I’ll still be here, checking in and monitoring everything.

Happy Tuesday.

I’m glad Riley is seeming more his old self. Can’t wait to see the changes!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
