Final Felt Critters

October 30, 2014 at 8:31 am by Claudia

Well, it’s the end of the line for our Christmas Critter Felt Along. In order to give you enough time to make them for the holidays, we’re posting the last two critters today.

They are the Woodland Rabbit:

and the Wetland Duck:

I have enjoyed this project more than I can say. Reading is becoming difficult for me as my eyes are failing…… and I can’t do many things that I have in the past, but I have been able to do these little critters. I’m sad to see this end. My little felt basket sits by my chair and when people come, the first thing they do is look through the basket at my latest project. It’s been fun to hear their favorites. Mine is the turtle….I have a little tree that will be graced with my work this year. Looking for special lights. Thanks for continuing on after so many dropped out.
I will think of you and Claudia when I decorate my tree.

I just left this comment when I copied the duck pattern.

I’m so glad you have enjoyed these patterns, Balisha. Maybe you can take a picture of your tree when it’s all decorated? We’d absolutely love to see that!

Thank you very much for this fun project and I’m very happy, too, that you continued with it even though many dropped out. These little ‘critters’ will always remind me of you and your wonderful blog. Also Dawn of Creative Cain Cabin.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
