Flying Sheep & the Urban Barn

May 19, 2010 at 9:50 pm by Claudia

How about a sheep that flies? Or a sheep angel?

The “wings” are part of my creativity kit from Terri. I couldn’t resist.

Debbie sent me a card and it arrived in my mailbox today. Thank you, Debbie. I can’t tell you what a difference it makes to actually receive some mail here at my home-away-from-home!

Tomorrow we start run-throughs of all 3 plays and they will continue through Sunday. That is the last day we are in the rehearsal rooms. Tuesday marks the beginning of tech rehearsals for King Lear – onstage under the stars.

More photos from the sale at the Urban Barn:

This cabinet was huge! Easily 12′ – 15 ‘ high.

Fabulous chandelier with rosaries hanging from it.

More lockers!

I’ve seen the taller bottle racks but never one this size – definitely more affordable.

Sick of your boring mailbox? How about this shell-encrusted version?

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing photos from the Urban Barn. You never know where I might go exploring next!

I guess the one good thing being so far from home is the phenomenal shopping you’re getting to do! I am really enjoying all your posts. Adorable little sheep too. Good luck with your show and your flowers were beautiful!

The ‘flying’ sheep is such a funny idea Claudia :)

I want to go Flea shopping with you – you obviously know all the great places! I don’t know what I covet most, the old dollshouse or the birdcage beside the shell mailbox. Please take us on more expeditions!

How cute is your little lamb. Love that pink rusty stool in the first photo from the Urban Barn. Is the bird bath attached to the stool? what a fun place this would be to visit. You’ve been thinking of a shop too – how fun!! We might as well, everyone else is doing it. LOL

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
