Friday Folderol

June 5, 2009 at 2:53 pm by Claudia

Happy Friday, everyone. You know I love peonies – and yes, I’m posting more photos. I cannot help myself. They are so gorgeous, so short-lived, so luscious! It also provides an opportunity to practice with my camera and the macro setting.

Beautiful. My husband sent the next photos – just to prove that I indeed have peonies on my property. Note to husband: please send photos of the garden and the now, I’m sure, fully open peonies.

I promised Donna that I would post a photo of my little vintage birdcage. I found this at Vignettes – my cottage is small and I need a petite birdcage. This is a vintage Hendryx cage that I fell in love with. Think of all the things I can do with it back at Mockingbird Hill Cottage! Right now, one of Joy’s birds is happily chirping away.

Don’t forget the Giveaway – scroll down for the details!

Ooooh, you lucky ducky – that is a BEAUTY! It will look gorgeous at MHC east! So are you booking an extra seat for all the goodies you’ll be bringing home with you? Will your peonies still be in bloom when you get home? … Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage

Oh, Claudia, I just love those peonies! It really is a shame they’re so short-lived, but what life they bring to the garden!

    I love the bird cage . . . it’s fantastic!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
