Grrrrr!

June 11, 2025 at 6:49 am by Claudia

I’m cranky because someone was snoring and woke me up at 4:30 am and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Meanwhile, it’s 6:31 and he’s still sleeping. Ah, well.

This will be brief because of said lack of sleep and my rage at what is going on in California. Bless Gavin Newsom for standing up to evil. Purposeful misspelling to avoid the trolls: EYEC needs to be abolished. “Multiple Felonies” needs to be removed from office. March on Saturday.

The catalpa tree in bloom, though I can’t believe there are any flowers still hanging in there because of all the torrential rain we’ve had.

The peony should open fully today, it hasn’t been sunny for the past few days.

I’m sorry, friends, that’s all I can give you today. I’ll be more lively on Friday.

Stay safe.

Happy Wednesday.

I hope you can get back to sleep — I find it so hard after it becomes light.

      I do, too!

And it gets light very early these days.

      Stay safe, Jeanie.

That will be a gorgeous peony! Sorry you didn’t get a full sleep. I woke up early too, but I just wake up early sometimes. I’ll be out protesting on Saturday. I’m guessing the things happening in LA will help bring out even more people. Hope you can get a nap in today or at least a little more quiet time. Take care.

hope you (and don) sleep better tonight. so important!

i do alright, get stuff done and am not crabby with little sleep. i get crabby when it’s hot (for me that’s anything over 75 … ha not ha) and humid. it’s supposed to reach 90+ here today. ):(

found a “no kings” protest here at noon on saturday. i will take it as a good thing if poster board is all sold out when i go to the store for my own.

thanks for more beautiful photos of beautiful things. nature is very soothing to me. also, i am kind of in awe at the height of that catalpa tree! :)

hope you, don and everyone else have a nice day. stay safe.

Mr was world’s worst until C-pap came into our lives !! our spring flowers are done now as we wait for canna to bloom. hope you all can rest, recover today. stay safe, healthy — we are beyond disgusted w/clown show that imitates govt — we all need to stand up for ourselves as it seems NO ONE else is going to do that for us.

    It’s hard to watch.

The pictures of the flowers have been so beautiful, just love the colors. And the outfits on the girls are adorable. That Beatles shirt!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
