Happy Holidays

December 24, 2010 at 3:00 am by Claudia

Mom, Dad, my brother Dave and me visiting Santa
We spent this day before Christmas Eve dealing with furnace problems. It didn’t want to stay on. But, good news, our oil/furnace guy came this evening and fixed everything. The transformer has been replaced and we can relax. My shopping is done, my hand-made gifts are finished, tomorrow I’m going to watch White Christmas and make a pie or two.As we head into Christmas Eve, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all the Happiest of Holidays. Whatever your particular form of celebration – Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa – I hope it is filled with joy and peace.

Oh my gosh, you look so much like your beautiful mother (: Wanted to stop by and wish you, your hubby, and doggies a very Merry Christmas. I bought hand-made Christmas-tree-shaped dog treats yesterday for my son’s dogs. It’s kinda like spoiling the grandkids (:

Claudie, what an adorable picture of you with your brother, mom, and dad! You haven’t changed a bit. I would have known that was you in a lineup of children’s shots, just as cute as a button! :-)

I hope that you, Don, Scout and Riley have a wonderful Christmas. I’m glad your furnace problems are resolved.

Mr. Magpie is awaiting some friend’s coming by to take him to an annual Christmas Eve dinner that we attend every year. I wanted him to press on without me this year because it’s important to be with friends and never take one moment for granted. While he is out visiting, I am going to enjoy visiting with my blogging friends. Sounds like a good trade-off to me! :-)

Sending you warm Christmas hugs and all good wishes for everything that is merry and bright.

    Love you…

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

You can tell I’ve been sick as I just typed Claudie instead of Claudia! I am SO sorry. What a dufus I am, and to do that not only to a friend but to a friend who’s an English teacher! ARGH! My apologies along with my love…

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
