Remember the embroidered ‘Nice’ that I stitched and then tacked onto a pillow? It’s on our bed.
Knowing that Don doesn’t always notice these things, I pointed it out to him today.
He said I should embroider another one that says ‘So-So’ and attach it to the other side of the pillow. Depending on how ‘things’ (ahem) go, one side or the other can be displayed. Sort of like the signs judges used to hold up for figure skating before computers came along.
Then he said I should market and sell them.
Oh, that boy.
LOL LOL. Well, I think you should also embroider one that says WOW!!, just in case, honey. ;-)

Connie
Very good.

Claudia, I was
sure he was going
to suggest “naughty!”
Wouldn’t that be
funny? Sort of a
romantic barometer : )
Okay, now I’m blushing!
xx Suzanne
PS: I agree with him
about the selling part ~
your embroidery is so
beautiful!
This sound EXACTLY like something a husband would suggest! (Their minds work a bit differently than ours do.) I love the idea.
He’s funny!
Claudia, at least he didn’t suggest several pillows using a point system!!LOL Unfortunately, knowing how long embroidery takes to do, I don’t think that you could get people to pay you what they are really worth when they are finished. The one that you did is really pretty. Keep up the good work.
Great sense of humor! !
Very beautiful handiwork, Claudia.
Love the headboard.

That Don is one wise cookie. He’s a keeper. Perfect idea. So glad you have found a LABOR of LOVE to work on this weekend.
He he, your husband made me giggle….Rosanna
What a lovely vignette you’ve got there, especially that headboard…..gosh I love roses. Your pillow is so pretty, and I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t try out selling a couple just to see how it goes.
Hugs,
Meri
*giggle* :)
He’s a keeper. Maybe you should pay him an ‘idea’ fee. LOL
Your pillow is lovely. The simplicity of your embroidery really shines through. Safe Labor Holiday weekend…
Funny! Your husband must have a great sence of humor! I just love your pillow. It is so simple and pretty.
Leave it up to a guy to think of something like that.
HA! I too have to point out things to hubby, he seldom notices much. Once I bought a new rug for the kitchen floor. He never noticed it. As long as the place is clean and he has a place to rest after a busy day that is quite, that is fine for him.
Hope your day is good.
Claudia, those husbonds of ouers, are surely funny -lol- and not too observing ,when it comes to home decorating.
I think you should keep your beautiful embroidered pillow (s) :)
Hugs,Dorthe
I think he is on to something. They would sell like crazy. Loved our chat today. Sorry for all the mess.

So So, Nice, indeed! Very pretty Claudia! xox

Have a lovely & safe holiday weekend.

Your stitchery is so pretty! I really love hand embroidered things and hope to be able to do a little this winter when things get calmer around here.

I think he’s on to something!…
very cute.
Not a bad idea, actually!
Your blog is looking really pretty!
