Life Can Be Complicated

August 24, 2021 at 9:26 am by Claudia

I’m seeing more and more of these on the ground. Thought it’s still summery out there, fall is on the horizon. I’m not sure I’m ready for it yet, but I’m getting there.

I’m feeling off today –  the extreme weather, barometric changes, humidity and moisture have left me feeling congested, coughing, and really, really tired. Plus, I’m wrestling with a potential work situation that may or may not work out and it’s one I’d really like to work out. That’s all I can say for now, though I’m at peace – I think – with either outcome.

All that is to say that I’m exhausted today. I woke up very early as well. So I’m going to lay low, try to keep myself occupied, as well as get some rest.

I hope you don’t mind that this is on the brief side.

The newest Louise Penny arrives today – that’s good news!

Stay safe.

Happy Tuesday.

Yes, I can feel fall right around the corner too. I was thinking about making chili yesterday. It was 85° and humid..not chili weather by any means. Still, I am starting to make that mental shift.

One of the things I really love about retirement is that I can listen to my body and do what I feel like. I don’t have to drag myself to work after a sleepless night. So, take a rest day today and feel better.

Yes I understand the fatigue. Even though we live in a state with a high vaccination rate the virus numbers are going up..
Every day I thank God my husband is now retired . Last year he was able to work from home but now he is retired and we don’t have to think about him being in the workplace. So so thankful we are.
Hope Don`s eye appointment went well.

I walked outside and the heat hit me in the face. I think I might be ready for some Fall temps. Give yourself a restful day. Hugs!

I fished one of those out of the lake yesterday. Yes, more and more. Lay low — it sounds like you need it. Meanwhile, we’ll send positive energy for the job.

I’m so excited Fall is starting to show it’s presence here as Summer has been brutal. And I love Fall! Today, I think you’d should curl up on the couch with your book and immerse yourself in the words. Life is complicated at times but will fall in to place in time.

    Wishing you peace today.

So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. No need to apologize. We all have our off days. It’s still hot in Phoenix so I can not wait for Fall. My favorite time of the year. Sending good vibes to you and Don. Stay safe!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
