Life in the Garden, Square #23

March 23, 2010 at 7:00 am by Claudia

More proof of life in the garden…oh, my lovelies are returning! I spent time on Sunday wandering around the yard and garden taking photos.

As seen through the gazing ball.

Don’s father is still the same. Don took the red-eye from San Diego last night and will get in this morning around 10:00. We continue to hope that Lee recovers fully.

I had only a brief amount of time to come up with square #23:

In keeping with my garden theme, a very simple tribute to my hostas.

What a neat shot of you taking a pix reflected in the gazing ball! Yes, our plum orchards here are blooming and peaches will be blooming soon. my daylily and iris foliage is coming up and our daffodils, quince and forsythia are blooming. Yay!

I love Hostas! I have them in all the shady areas of my yard. Our lastest snow is almost melted away, and I can see a few things trying to pop out of the ground.
    Maybe spring really is coming.

Your photos are wonderful! The one taken through the gazing ball is so cool! I love those little lovlies that you’re growing. I just planted something very similar in my garden border. (Hope I can keep them alive!)

Sigh… I wish you lived closer. You’d be so fun to hang out and stitch with! I’d put on a pot of tea!

    Hugs,
    Jill

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
