Lots of Snow on the Way

December 26, 2025 at 8:04 am by Claudia

I’m cheating – I took this photo last year. But it’s so beautiful, isn’t it?

This will be short and sweet. We had a lovely and quiet day yesterday. No gifts, but lots of music, a great dinner, and Stranger Things on Netflix.

Today, on the other hand? After most of the snow melting the other day, we are being treated to 10 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. The storm will start in the afternoon, and will go on through the night and into the morning hours on Saturday. Yikes. As you can imagine, we have to run to the grocery store this morning as well as buy some more salt for the driveway. It looks like most of the snow will fall after dark.

Not looking forward to this. It will be a snow blower event, for sure.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are relaxing and eating leftovers today.

Stay safe.

Happy Friday.

That’s some serious snow coming through. We’re getting freezing rain today. At least it waited till after Christmas.

    May your celebrations continue!

Glad you two had a lovely day. We did too…lots of laughs to be had. But…no leftovers here…what wasn’t eaten i gave to my sons. Oops. I know how to make more lol.

10 inches! Oooh….going to be so beautiful. It’s too warm here for snow….its melting like crazy. But rain changing to snow on Sunday….not much tho.

Hope the grocery store isn’t too crowded…enjoy the snow!! ;)

I don’t think I’ll be enjoying having to clean up that snow.

      Stay safe, Donnamae.

      Thanks, Kathy.

I am not happy with the weather forecast. We’ve had lots of snow in December and we need a break.

Stay safe during the storm. Hope you won’t get as much snow as predicted. Time to get cozy and stay warm. Hugs, Elaine

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
