March Christmas Critter Felt Along Linky Party

March 22, 2014 at 6:00 pm by Claudia

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve had fun making your little felt critters for March. For those of you who may be new to this party, Dawn and I have decided to introduce two new felt critters every month for 2014. If you make two each month, you’ll end up with 24 Christmas ornaments by the end of the year. You could display them on a special tree or give them as gifts.

At the end of last month, we introduced two new critters, the skunk and the turtle.

These are the ornaments we’ll be sharing this week. We so look forward to seeing what you have created – there’s always such variety!

Now, it’s time to share our new patterns for April!

The Fox and the Deer. (I just saw a little red fox in my yard this week!)

This month’s party will remain open for five days, so you have time to link up. You even have time to make the ornaments if you haven’t had the time to do it. Please join in the fun!

If you don’t have a blog and you want to link up, you can link your photo through your Facebook page. Dawn has written a great tutorial and has included it in her post here.

Have fun!

What an awesome idea Claudia! I love these! I wanted to make some last December but I waited too long and then never made any. This is such a good way to do it and I love the patterns you’ve shared.

Sorry…I have two skunks showing here. I accidentally put the wrong address on one of them and you can’t get to my blog with it. These are so cute…
Thanks to both of you for hosting.

Oh! I love this stitch along! Everyone’s is so cute! Adore next months patterns too. I went to a quilt show in Pasadena yesterday and one of the vendors had green wool that yelled at me to take home to make the turtle … so I’m ready once a window of opportunity opens.

    Happy critter crafting to everyone!

I don’t know what to tell you about that, Nancy. It as to do with your printer and your browser, not with the pattern itself. I hope you can figure it out! Maybe Dawn can send them to you?

Those are so sweet, Claudia! How wonderful to have had a fox in the yard! We had three deer cross the street right in front of us tonight. Thank God I spotted them in time. They were so beautiful and I’m so grateful they got across the road safely. Luckily it was a back road and not heavily traveled! Have a wonderful week,

These are all so cute. I made some of these a few years ago, but my attempts at crafting are so primitive(and that is being extremely kind) I hesitate to share them. I enjoyed seeing other folks’ creations, though.:-)

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
