Merry Christmas

December 25, 2024 at 11:55 am by Claudia

I was so relaxed this morning that I forgot to post until now! We’ve just finished eating our french toast breakfast (cooked by me,) Don is cleaning up the kitchen, and we exchanged gifts. One of his presents for me won’t arrive until tomorrow, so we’ll exchange our other gift then. We decided on two small, relatively inexpensive gifts each.

We had a surprise on Christmas Eve morning. More snow had fallen overnight. Just about an inch. So, even though the temperatures were warmer yesterday, we had enough on the ground to guarantee a White Christmas. And just now, the sun came out! It’s truly lovely out there. We’re blessed.

We sang carols out loud in the car yesterday while we were doing last minute grocery shopping. We’ve been listening to Christmas music this morning. It’s a lovely and simple day.

Prayers for peace this Christmas and always. Don and I send our love to you and yours.

Stay safe.

I too, hope for peace for this troubled world.

Merry Christmas to you both, thankyou for giving “us” a peek into your daily life, always a joy to see what you are up to. Love your little cottage, it looks like a “doll house”

Your Christmas sounds lovely, Claudia! I’ve not been online for more than a few minutes since Sunday so I’m catching up! Ours was lovely too — both of them. But we’re pretty whipped from round one with the kids! I hope the rest of your holidays are merry and bright!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
