More Decorating

The tree is decorated…the saga has ended, thank goodness. I have to say it is the prettiest one yet. Clear lights have made a huge difference in the look of the tree. Now I am in the midst of the ‘how do you get a good photograph of the tree?’ dilemma. No matter how I try, the photo doesn’t do it justice. So if you can hang on a day, I will have some photos to share with you. I’m going to mess around with the camera and see what I can come up with.

You know my ‘wrought iron thingy’ that is on the table in the kitchen? The pumpkins are gone and this is what I’ve done with it for the Christmas season.

Simple, but pretty, I think. Have a wonderful day.

Ah….so pretty. Rustic and natural with a bit of bling. Does it get any better than that?

Can’t wait to see your tree…and do share tips about how to photograph it!

Is “wrought iron thingy” its technical term, honey?!?!?! ;-) It’s lovely and I’d give a molar way in the back to have one…I THINK! But I’m having the exact same problem with photographing my tree for publication on thursday. I finally called a friend who is doing professional photography and she’s coming over with her camera to do it. I’ll treat her to lunch soon for saving my backside. I also cannot get a good picture of that tree. Daylight seems to be better but I’ve tried everything to no avail. Very frustrating!
    xoxo,
    Connie

Oh, gosh, I love that wrought iron thingy…It looks elegant with the pine boughs and silver balls. Silver and green seems to be really popular this year!

Oh, I hear you on the tree photos. It is so hard to get good ones. If you discover the trick to it, let me know!… Donna

Simple is usually the best in my opinion, humble as it may be. I can’t wait to see your tree. I couldn’t get a good shot of mine either.

Know the tree is pretty but this wrought iron thingy is gorgeous!

I always love metal ‘thingys’ – great potential.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
