This morning:
What the…???
It’s still going on, a mix of snow and rain. It won’t amount to much, but it is covering the ground this morning. Rain should kick in this afternoon.
In the meantime, will I ever get to clean up the garden beds?
Left to right:
• Cottage Ware by Kensington in England.
• A charming egg cup with a dish for the spoon. Or bits of the shell. I found this at the flea market in Paris.
• Motto ware from Torquay Pottery in England. A lovely gift from a reader of this blog. You can see a charming cottage surrounded by trees. And if you look at the other side of the egg cup…
You see the words “Laid today.”
So darned charming!
I’ve been looking at egg cups on eBay and Etsy. There are at least two wooden egg cups I want, cups I’ve never seen before. I’ve got them bookmarked.
Margaret is a strong woman and she has a positive attitude, which will serve her well during the next few months. Adrian sounded more rested yesterday, which is a relief. Right now, everything is on hold until they can do further surgery on her leg. Yesterday’s surgery involved a piece of glass from her glasses that had embedded itself under her eye – they couldn’t remove it and then stitch it up because it would have pulled her lower eyelid away from her eye, making it impossible to close. So they removed the glass and added some sort of filler.
Prayers continue.
Stay safe.
Happy Saturday.
