Pink Saturday

June 12, 2009 at 2:06 pm by Claudia

Happy Pink Saturday, everyone! Please stop by Beverly’s to see a list of all participating. I managed to come up with some pink treasures – by the skin of my teeth!

Here we go – this little plate was found at the Barn Sale. It is old with a lot of crazing, which makes me love it even more.

This pink present is on its way to Vanessa – she won my giveaway.

This little pink bird is part of this McCoy dish, given to me by Heidi.

And this, the last of the peonies, faded to a beautiful pale pink.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

I’m so sorry to see the peonies wilt, we had them such a short time this year.
I just read your post about your Grandmothers tea chest. What a lovely thing to have, I’m so happy you left it just the way you found it.
How sad that she lost two sisters to the swine flu. The story filled me with sadness.

Peonies, peonies, peonies, I love them! Hi Claudia, your peonies are gorgeous. I have only 3 bushes but they are just gorgeous in the Spring. I planted one long time ago by the pool and it never bloomed until this past Spring. I was thrilled. I think I may have planted it too deep for it take such a long time to bloom. I can be a dummy. I am going to your friends etsy store store to check out her banners. Happy Belated Pink Saturday. xo Lynn P.s. I love crazing too.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
