Do you remember my earlier PS post about Scout’s ears and how pink they become when the sun was behind her? Well, I knew I had a photo somewhere of her with her really, really pink ears and I found it yesterday. Without further ado, Scout and her neon pink ears!

Let’s see, what else for this Pink Saturday? I found a frame for my Christie Repasy painting at an antique mall – I think the gold nicely sets off the beautiful pink roses.

This week the pink flower is Alstromeria ~ one of my favorites to put in a vase because they last so long.



This week I am in rehearsals on Saturday and Sunday ~ and my husband is here ~ but never fear, I will stop by your blogs. Please visit Beverly and see all the Pink Saturday posts.

  12. It’s raining cats and dogs in Upper Michigan today with oodles of cold wind. Not very spring-like so traveling from blog to blog on Pink Saturday is really a treat for me today.

    I love alstromeria because it lasts a long time in a vase. I have some in my garden and it’s beautiful when it blooms. The pink ears are really cute!

  26. Claudia, good luck in rehersals, have a blast with your husband and have a great week! You said on our blog comments that Nature’s pinks are the best, and Scout’s ears sure do qualify! He is darling and so darn pretty in pink! The frame that you chose for your beautiful painting is perfect. By the way, I love your blue glasses and I also love the Rose Chintz platter on your blog header. (or whatever that is called, I may be having a brain bleep)I have my Great Aunt Elsie’s whole set of Rose Chintz china and it is my most very favorite possession! Happy Pink Saturday.

I passed along your comments to her; she thinks she’s too _____, not enough ____, her _____ is too ______. All those thoughts that teen girls have about their appearance. If only she knew just how beautiful she is; working on building her self esteem is something we chip away at every day.

    I do remember you saying that about Scout’s ears…lol! They really are a bright pink!

    The frame you bought is really pretty and it goes well with the painting. You know, I have never heard of that flower before…I love when bloggy friends post flowers I’ve never seen or heard of. Now I’m going to have to Google it.
