Pink Saturday

April 18, 2009 at 12:37 am by Claudia

Hello everyone! Its Pink Saturday again and that means that Beverly of How Sweet the Sound has a list on her blog of everyone participating. Thank you, Beverly, for all your work. Please visit all the other blogs showing their pink lovelies.

This little covered glass dish has hand painted roses on it. Heidi had it at the shop and I took it home with me (after paying for it, of course!) I use it to hold some of my jewelry.

I found this fabric at an antique shop. I love the pink flowers. Someday I will make something with it, but for now I’m happy looking at it.

I’ve wanted to post this little pink cutie for a while, but I had to go home to get just the right shot. When the sunlight is behind Scout, her little pink ears just glow!

I think she’s sleepy here or maybe just fed up with my camera.

Of course I’m her Mom, but she’s a cutie, isn’t she?

Happy Pink Saturday everyone.

Hi Claudia, Your Scout is gorgeous. I just caught up on your blog a bit and realized you are away from your family for an extended time. I know you must miss them terribly. WOW, you certainly were able to get a lot done before you left–I feel ashamed to say I’m here all the time and don’t get that much accomplished!!

I hope you’ve had a great Pink Sat.. I am just now getting to visit a few blogs—I’ve had my gr. girl since yesterday. She’s not quite 3—and is very, very energetic! :) We just sent her home. The house seems sadly quiet! My kitties are pretty “noiseless”!

Currently she is doing choreography for junior theater and getting paid for it too. Which thrills her! This weekend they do the show Aesop’s Fables. Oh, Claudia – I LOVE the photo of Scout! Oh my gosh, it is gorgeous!!

As I drove past Fenway Park on the Mass Pike Saturday (bringing Court back to school early), I was quite relieved that I wasn’t making the drive today (battling game traffic and Boston Marathon traffic!)…

Court and two of her friends have just signed a lease for an apartment over in the Fenway section of Boston for September (rather than going back to their dorm)… It’s a lovely apartment. I’m sure I’ll share photos of it on my blog come September!

Enjoy the beautiful San Diego weather. The weather people say we’ll be hitting 70 on Thursday!!!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.
