Pink Saturday

June 20, 2009 at 2:01 am by Claudia

Pink Saturday is here again…please stop by Beverly’s blog and visit all those participating. If you saw my previous post, you know that I visited Vignettes again this week. I happened upon some wonderful pink things that I will share with you.

This pink dress looks as if it is ready to be worn to the Prom.

This is the exquisite detail on an vintage child’s dress.

Oh, I think I could be talked into this – a beautiful headboard upholstered in gorgeous fabric (with pink flowers, of course.) This is from a dealer at Vignettes called Paris Flea Market. They are profiled as the cover story in this month’s Romantic Country magazine.

A sweet corner shelf.

Beautiful millinery flowers.

Have a great weekend!

    Happy Pink Saturday Claudia!
Thanks for stopping by Country Wings in Phoenix. I loved the dress. The fabric is absolutely breath taking. I love textures. I also loved the beautiful pink fabric flowers. I have made many for hear accessories for the grand daughters, and even made a few for purses and shirts. They are so fun and colorful. I have to admit tho, I too loved the head board. Please stop by again, and I will do the same. Sending “Country Hugs” from Country Wings in Phoenix, Sherry

Claudia, I thought this whole time I was following your blog….then I saw that I wasn’t! Please forgive me…lol!

I would run away with that dress. It probably wouldn’t fit over my thighs but OMG it’s lovely. It reminds me of a dress that Rachel Ashwell had in one of her books and of the wedding dress that I took a picture of at Craftiques. Alas, when I went back to buy it, it was gone….(sobbing noises)

That headboard is making me swoon! I’m with Dreamgirl-your pottery on your banner is so stunning.

Oh Claudia look at your blog comments. You have a perfect blog that lady’s love. I also love it.
I did some catching up…you have a precious doll house!!
I had one that was 6 ft. x 4 ft… very big. I furnished with everything under the sun, it had 3 floors.
I donated it to the “cat rescue fund” my fav rescue. We sold raffle tickets and they actually made a few hundred dollars. It would have NEVER fit in my little cottage.
    Happy PS and fun playing.

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.
