Pink Saturday

March 21, 2009 at 12:09 am by Claudia

Happy Pink Saturday! Since I am in a home-away-from-home, I’m always afraid I’ll run out of pink things. I mean there’s only so much I can accumulate while I am here. As I looked around for this week’s post, I came upon a little plate that I bought when I first arrived. It is from Bavaria and has a signature on the back.

Pink Roses in my living room

A sweet pink pillowcase embroidered with “Hers” – I bought it from my friend Joy’s booth at Vignettes.

I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday. I may not get around to reading everyone’s posts until later in the day. I plan to go to the Barn Sale at La Maison Rustique in Temecula in the morning. This sale only happens once a month and I was too busy to attend last month. I’ve heard great things! I’ll be taking the camera in order to share it with you.

Please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to see links to all today’s Pink Saturday posts. Thank you, Beverly, for all your hard work!

Happy Pink Saturday Claudia. Orchids are interesting plants ( I have a pot myself) but I have a regret about them because they smell absolutely nothing and so beautiful they are, for me they have something unfinished.

LOVE that vintage pillowcase!! You are so lucky to be able to attend that sale–I just went to the link. I just scrolled and drooled for several posts! Is that place in CA or on the East Coast? I thought you lived out East.

Hope you have a fun day and find some great bargains—take photos for us.

    Happy PSat! Dana

The pillow case is so sweet. I like the simplicity in it and the embroidery is so lovely. :-) Great way to say “this is my side of the bed” :-) but in a loving way :-)

Happy Pink Saturday! Have fun on the barn sale. Maybe you’ll find pinks for next Saturday :-)

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
