Pink Saturday

May 23, 2009 at 12:06 am by Claudia

Hard to believe another week has gone by so quickly, but it is Pink Saturday again…please stop by our hostess Beverly’s blog and see the list of all the participants. I must admit I was afraid I had nothing pink to offer this week. Then, my husband and I were having breakfast with friends and one of them gave me a little Pink Saturday treat. She reads my blog. My present was this sweet little teapot.

Isn’t it adorable? Thank you, Lynne!

This week I bought more tulips and was sure they were a pale lavender. When I got them home, I found they were the palest of pinks ~ a delicate, lovely pink.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

The unexpected gifts are always the best. They can make you feel so special! The tulips are beautiful, it makes me a little sad that they are almost past their season.

Happy Pink to you and have a great Holiday Weekend!

Those tulips are such a beautiful shade of pink. I sometimes buy geraniums that color for my window boxes. They are my favorite shade, but hard to find sometimes. So delicate and pretty.

Your friend was very thoughtful to surprise you with that lovely teapot! It will go nicely with your many rose things, and what a lovely reminder of her friendship you will have when you are back home in Mockingbird Hill Cottage.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
