Sadness

March 24, 2010 at 8:45 am by Claudia

Don arrived home yesterday morning after flying all night long – sad to leave his father, happy to be home. Yesterday afternoon we found out my father-in-law had taken a turn for the worse in the hours after Don left. The doctor has said there is no hope. Even the strongest antibiotic has failed to help. And now we wait. Don is heartbroken.

Bless you, dear Lee.

I’m so sorry. It is wonderful, though, that Don was able to be with his father during the past week or so and that he will always have that time to remember. Prayers your way!!! Life takes such sharp turns in such little time sometimes.

    Dearest Claudia,

I am so, so sorry to hear about your FIL. I just spent this past week with my husband and his dad skiing in Utah. I don’t get to see him very much but I realize just how special he really is. I will hope and pray for his recovery.

Oh, Claudia, I am just heartbroken for Don and for you. Oh my gosh, poor Don. We have been through medical ups and downs with my dad (in his late 80’s) this past year. It is just so hard to see our parents age. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I am so, so sorry… Donna

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
