As I vowed to on Friday, I cleaned off the porch and stored everything in the shed. Not a moment too soon! That night, the weather report said our first snowfall was due on Saturday. Big, fat snowflakes fell and we were treated to our first glimpse of winter. This particular snowfall was very wet and only an inch of snow accumulated. Perfect. No shoveling.
This morning as I was letting the dogs outside, I took this photo of the sun rising through our trees.
Then I took this one:
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. What a beautiful photo, Claudia.
Boy, if Kodak had to go outside in that to potty, he wouldn’t. We have a difficult enough time getting him to go out when it’s raining. This morning it is very COLD here . . .
Have a beautiful day!
Hugs,
Marsha
Forecast today is for snow here in the Idaho desert, but we’ll see, sugar. That photo of the sunrise is spectacular though. Hunker down and drink hot cocoa and “listen” to the quiet, chick…

It looks exactly like a Christmas card, Claudia. Just beautiful…
Stay warm and cozy…

What pretty photos, Claudia. I want to take some snow to Lima… here is no snow ever.

Hello Claudia,

Oh Claudia, these are stunning photos!! We got our fist snow over the weekend. :( LOL!!
Hugs,

I am so envious! We have very cold temps right now, and there was a tiny dusting of snow to the north and south of us, yesterday morning, but not one flake here…just a lot of frost, and it’s a shiny sunshiney, blue, blue sky kind of a day. I’m going to have to bundle up to decorate our front porch today.
Loved reading your McCoy posts, Claudia. Your collection is so pretty. Dog bath day made me think of my sister. She has three dogs, and she was just talking about their baths last night, and saying she still had one to go. Her dogs aren’t quite as large as yours. Her three probably only add up to one and half of yours, so I can only imagine what a real job that is.
Take care, dear friend.

Better late than never! I did get a new camera a few weeks ago Claudia. I bought a second hand Nikon COOLPIX P80 from a friend of a family member. It was only a year only and in excellent shape. I wanted something with more zoom than I had and with a faster shutter speed. With my old camera I was only able to take about 1 picture every 10 seconds, it was endlessly frustrating. Especially when photographing children that move at the speed of light! I’m still learning how to work with it. At this point it’s still basically point and shoot, but it’s fun learning. Have a wonderful snowy day!
We were treated to the white stuff, too, Claudia! We ended up with about 3″ or so. No shoveling necessary, which was nice, and it was beautiful. I’ll enjoy it right up until Christmas, but as soon as Christmas is done I’m ready for sunshine and 70’s… Jan/Feb/Mar are the longest months, aren’t they?… Donna
