Spring and the Sox

April 2, 2008 at 4:17 pm by Claudia

No, this isn’t what our yard looks like at present – although it has looked like this in the past. The trees are still bare and the weather very changeable. But, spring is in the air. I see the tops of daffodils coming up, and the beginnings of my day lilies. On Sunday I spent the afternoon raking up all the thin branches that broke off our giant weeping willow during the winter. As I walked around the yard, I could detect subtle signs of new growth in the garden, on some bushes and on the willow. That makes me very happy.

We’ve spent the last several days dealing with Scout who is not feeling well. Not all the time, but some of the time. The vet is running some tests on her and she’s trying some medications that seem to be helping. She’s our baby girl and we want nothing more than to see her healthy and spunky.

Its baseball season again! We are diehard Boston Red Sox fans and are thrilled that the season has begun. Its like seeing old friends again. In fact, there’s a game on right now, so I will leave you all. Have a great week.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
