I recently won a giveaway from my artist friend, Helene Glehen. Helene lives in France and is tremendously talented. I marvel at her beautiful watercolor and oil paintings. You must visit her blog and see her beautiful creations.
Yesterday, I checked my mail at the Theater and there was an envelope from France. This was inside.
This original watercolor is entitled: Summer Roses and White Cabbage Butterfly. Isn’t it lovely? The colors are a bit off; I’ve tried to get them as close to the original as possible.
I am so thrilled, Helene! Thank you so much! I cannot wait to frame it and hang it in Mockingbird Hill Cottage.

Oh my, She paints gorgeous roses! One of the things I dearly wish I could do was paint beautiful roses…lessons and practice didn’t help me much! :) Happy Thursday Claudia.
