For hours of sewing away from home, for fabric eggs and fabric hearts, for stitching square onto square, strip onto strip, row onto row, borders onto rows and making two quilts. You are everything they say you are – a workhorse with a fantastic straight stitch. You do everything with grace. Thanks for keeping me company at the apartment. I will soon return you to my friend, Ingrid, who trusted me enough to lend you to me. You were her Grandmother’s sewing machine – a treasure. I will miss you…and I will get one like you for myself someday…along with my dream Janome 6600P Memory Craft Sewing Machine. Thank you, Featherweight. Thank you, Ingrid.
