Update on the Desk

November 3, 2009 at 3:56 pm by Claudia

I was sitting in the living room talking to my husband when I noticed our favorite little lamp on top of our hutch in the den. We have never found the perfect place for it…until now. I was on my feet in flash. Would it work? Yes, I think we have found the perfect place for it on the desk.

The other lamp is moving back up to the guest room – I think it was too tall for the desk. And the light from under the red lampshade will be perfect in the evening.

It looks wonderful, Claudia. I know how it is, always tweaking, something doesn’t look quite right, and then when you find just the perfect spot, accessory, that’s it!!

    Hugs,
    Marsha

Just one more reason this desk was meant to come home with you! I have a lamp with a burgundy/red shade in my bedroom and I love the light it gives off in the evening too, it’s very warm.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
