Vignettes, Part 2

April 28, 2010 at 11:19 am by Claudia

Hello, everyone. All 3 Repertory productions have had their initial read-throughs and discussions. Rehearsals are jam-packed, with all three rehearsing at once. I am also coaching a 4th production at the same time. Yikes. Needless to say, every day is busy.

Some more photos from Vignettes:

This is my friend Joy’s space. She is wonderfully creative. Her space is called The Vintage Rabbit, which is also the name of her blog.

Some of Joy’s handmade bookmarks.

I would love these old lockers – if only I had the space in little MHC! More mirrors on the right.

When I first entered the shop, Lori was busy creating vignettes on the shelves of this cabinet, which had just arrived. It is a massive piece.

I love sharing these photos with you and hope you are enjoying them, too.

By the way, my friend Susan has a new etsy shop. It is called Life in the Sass Lane – isn’t that a great name? Susan makes the most adorable ribbon tag blankies that any child would love. Some are of vintage fabric, some are wonderful shapes (like owls or strawberries) – all are delightful. Stop by and visit!

Have a wonderful day.

Hi Claudia! Wow, I feel like a kid in a candy shop here! Love all the antiques and various goodies!! Knowing and admiring your 39 days sampler, inspired me to join in on the Blessings sampler Amy is doing now! I’m wondering if you will be doing this one too now, or does time allow?? ~tina

    Hi Claudia,
Very cool, all the vignettes are charming, I really love the book markers! I am always loosing my place while reading, just yesterday on the way home on the train I had to re-read the same thing over just to find out where I had left off in the book, since I was using a piece of paper to mark my place, lol. I think a “real” book marker is in need.
You have been a very busy girl!
I enjoyed catching up with you.
I have been packing every weekend for our move, two more weeks to go and then a new adventure begins.
    Take care,
    Elizabeth

Wow, I love every single thing in every single photo. I would snatch those lockers up for my mudroom redo if only I lived nearby!

Oh yes, loving these Claudia! I’ve started working on a 1:12 scale Brocante shop so I’m loving these pics – love to see the interesting things, and how they get so many things into such a small space! Wish I was there to go shopping! To my knowledge there’s nothing like this here in Sydney. I just know that if I was let loose in a place like this my eyes would just glaze over from excitement!

    You’re the BEST Miss Claudia!
A big Merci Beaucoup for posting these pics.
Let’s see, so far it’s the Italian Chandelier & now the lockers that we’re going to have to fit into your suitcases. I think we can do it though – with alot of bubble wrap!
We have your chocolates waiting for you Madam, so come back real soon for a visit.
    XOXO,

Wow– I love Joy’s space. Those paper lanterns need to come home to their rightful place in my little sunroom/studio. They would look so perfect!
That store is so full of eye candy– thanks for sharing!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
