Vintage Black Friday

November 13, 2009 at 10:45 am by Claudia

Hello everyone – I’m sorry this is up so late in the morning, but I didn’t get back from Charlotte until after midnight. Both of my flights were delayed, but the good news is I made my connection and I am back home. I had planned another post for today, but no time for a photo session!

This week, I want to share a lovely vintage piano at my friend Heidi’s store. It is apartment sized, so it only has 5 octaves instead of 8. Isn’t it sweet? I would have loved something like this when I was in my studio apartment days.

I know it has been sold and should have been picked up by the new owners this week. I hope they enjoy it! Happy Vintage Black Friday! Please stop by Gypsy Brocante to see a list of everyone participating.

    Good Morning Sweet Claudia…
I am so glad you made it home safe and I hope it was a great trip. It sounded like you were having fun. Airports are awful though, and it really gets stressful when they start cancelling flights, and you get many delays.

I so love this little piano. Is it not just the sweetest thing with it’s little stool and all? I just love it. Thanks for sharing sweetie. Please stop by and visit my Friday the 13th post, it will make you smile. Country hugs, Sherry

Welcome home! I never knew pianos were made “apartment-sized” with fewer octaves! Too cool!

    Good evening Claudia~

What a sweet little piano, I don’t believe I’ve seen a tiny one before … well except for the toy variety.

And “wow” is all I have to say about your previous post, the house tour … it is so warm and cozy, makes me want to sit and visit for a while … and what a great idea to use the server as a kitchen island!

Thanks for sharing … can’t wait for part 2.

Oh and something else, my husband is also over 6’4″ … our criteria when house hunting was him being able to stand up in the basement … he also had a role in our community theater’s production of South Pacific ; )

Hello Claudia…I am glad you are safely home and I am sure you are, too with the delays! lol!
What a wonderful piano…my hubby and I both play. I studied classical piano for eight years and have not played in twice that.
All I have is my wonderful antique piano chair…I will have to show that one day.

    Jil

I love the piano. I thought of you as we drove through New York a couple of nights ago. We’ll be headed back that way tomorrow. What a short trip for such a long drive!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
