Wilmington, Rhinebeck & an Award

October 21, 2009 at 2:23 pm by Claudia

Hello from Wilmington, Delaware. I drove down here today to work on The Wizard of Oz for a couple of days. I’m staying downtown and my hotel room is a suite! Oooh – I love that. I’m posting these photos per my husband’s request!

There’s a nice view:

Of course, I am here to work! But if I have to be away from my family, it helps to be in a lovely room.

My sister Meredith blogged about our trip to Rhinebeck today. You should see her photos! I stole one for my blog:

Me kissing a llama, or is it an alpaca?

I took photos of Mere with the animals too, but they came out too blurry (for the second year in a row.) She will be posting more photos so stop by and visit her. She is such a sweetie!

I’ve been forgetting to post this and I apologize. I’ve received this lovely award from three different bloggers.

Thank you so much, Kim, Teresa and Sue! I am very grateful and am always amazed when I receive an award. Honestly, I am incapable of choosing just a few blogs to pass this award along to, so if you will forgive me, I’ll pass this along to all my wonderful blog friends.

I have to find something to eat, so I will see you later!

    Hello My Friend

It’s been a while since I’ve visited, so I just had to catch up on your visit with your sister, your wonderful gifts and your great planter. I wish that I had a sister. I have 5 SIL who a really great and 1 cousin that I am close with, but a sister would be great! So glad that you got to spend some time with each other!

I think it is a llama. Alpacas have smaller faces. At least in person ;-)
Isn’t it nice to stay in a nice hotel room?! When I travel for work, I stay in nice digs too…nicer than when I have to pay for it myself – ha! Enjoy!!!

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
