I’m writing this on Monday as we’re going to try to get going earlyish on Tuesday morning and trying to fit a blog post in just takes too much time.
Cleared for incoming dollhouse.
I’ve since covered it with craft paper so I can paint the interior and exterior without damaging the table top.
And these guys were blooming today. They’ve been slow in growing this year, as have the moonflowers. I think I might need to amend the soil more thoroughly next year. The zinnias, of course, come up like clockwork, no matter what the quality of the soil.
This will be short and sweet. Since I didn’t say I wouldn’t be posting today, I figured I’d better post!
Wish us luck and a safe journey.
Stay safe.
Happy Tuesday.

I love your “space”. Looks so cozy! Can’t wait to see the new dollhouse since I do miniatures also, but not as much as you. I loved the new piece you got from England! Have a safe and fun trip!

Well, you’re all set, ready, go!
As Sandy said above in the comments, I too love your office/crafting space. It’s such a cozy nook. Despite space limitations overall in the cottage of which you’ve oft spoken, you utilize it all so well with always artfully-arranged collections throughout your square footage; it all works; you’ve made it work. I used to love how you had your sewing machine tucked in under that skylight, just outside the office or bedroom upstairs; is it still there? I can’t remember!
Also, when you show us first photos of the Beacon Hill after it’s in its new home at the cottage, would you please recap for me, in brief, how this came about; that you didn’t want to start your kit for it and decided to get this one already ‘built’, so you’ll now be selling your unused kit; or how did all that go, in a nutshell? I’m sorry I hadn’t paid closer attention when you spoke of this recently; I must have been really distracted. Or point out the past post so I can re-read? Thanks, Claudia; I want to begin the house’s new saga on the right foot, with all the facts and history behind it (loving the journey; you’ve made me a doll house fanatic and, oh boy, could I use a BETTER and more delightful distraction than all this troublesome stuff swimming around in my ‘news’-clogged brain!).

Did I just see on the U.S. weather maps that your area of NY is to get heavy rain today and tomorrow? Hope you got back and forth to PA without any of those downpours! (Not a fun time for a road trip if you’re beating against rain!)
Claudia says
Big rain tonight, but just showers tomorrow. It rained a little yesterday, but nothing big.
Claudia says
No, Don’s dresser is there now. The sewing machine is stashed under my desk.
Explanation is on today’s post, Vicki!
Stay safe.
