An Adventure

September 7, 2014 at 7:44 am by Claudia

Crazy morning ahead with Don packing his things, trying to get out the door by 9:30. Isn’t Sunday supposed to be a day of rest? Ha! Not for this threesome. Travel to New Haven, then squeezing in some coaching in the middle of the day while Don and Scout go to the local park, then back to New Haven. Scootie and I are staying the night as sort of a test. We want to see how she does there because when Don and I are both working out of town, there will be some days when she stays with him.

The Sedum is turning pink; a sure sign of fall.

How will Dame Scout react to all the adventures that are ahead of her for the next two months? Let’s hope she isn’t so set in her ways that she can’t adapt. No matter how old she is, she does have an adventuresome spirit. Today and tomorrow will be interesting!

This will be short. Have to get ready.

Happy Sunday.

    Claudia,

I hope the adjustment goes well and that you all have quality family time in Connecticut as well as productive work time. Something tells me that Scout is happy as long as she knows she is with you, even if you are gone for just a bit. She is such a love!

Hugs to each of you. ;-)

Her anchor will be knowing she is with at least one of you. They love to keep their pack close, don’t they? Like most of us, I guess.
    Have a safe journey!

Don’t forget your Blackwing pencils and have a good trip! Nice weather for driving – hope it’s not all city-ish and you get to see some end-of-Summer countryside. :>)

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
