Another Trip Around the Sun

I wonder what doll was in that carriage?

Loved dolls then. Love dolls now. Some things never change.

Short and sweet today. I had another 12 hour day yesterday and I’m tuckered out. Don has to be in the city this morning for an audition. I have to go back on Sunday. New York has seen a lot of us this week!

And it’s my birthday today.

I haven’t had time to respond to your comments yesterday. So I’ll just say thank you for all of the beautiful responses I read throughout the day yesterday. They made me smile. You are such a joy in my life and I never take you for granted.

Another trip around the sun. And a Happy Birthday video from my Little Z this morning. What could be better?

  2. Happy Birthday Claudia! I hope it is wonderful. I loved dolls when I was little. I have three older sisters, so I had a wonderful buggy, very much like yours, to walk my babies in. Dolls were not passed down. One never gives away a dolly, but the buggies, beds, dishes, etc. were passed down. Fun years. You look very happy with your buggy.

  11. I did so enjoy your post yesterday. It got me reflecting on the angels in my life. It’s quite the list. I ran out of time yesterday…too many things to do….so little time. Trying to get ready for Thanksgiving.

  28. Happiest of birthdays, Claudia! It’s my paternal grandmother’s too – she’d be 112 if she was still here. As it was, she did very well, making it to 98 and a half – and sharp as a tack the whole time too. We were blessed by that, and I hope you are as well.   45. Happy birthday! Love your blog-love NYC-loved England both trips as teachers went studying Shakespeare!! I gave in and rode The Eye the second time and worth every penny-for a few dollars could skip long line! Stratford and Oxford etc fantastic!!! We studied at the Globe and attended plays-had marvelous time doing it all! After a month one summer at The Folger in D C and a long month at Shakepeare and Company in Mass, teaching The Bard easy and fun! Am retired and missing it all!!
    Keep writing as you are totally gifted!!!
