A handsome guy, don’t you think?

At the moment, he is clean shaven.

It’s his birthday today. A very special birthday. Well, why not just say it? He’s 60 today.

And let me tell you, he just gets better and better. Sixty-schmixty. Who cares? I’m sure glad he was born on June 24, 1951. And I’m sure glad I met him on July 4, 1994.

Happy Birthday, honey. You are the love of my life: my husband, my partner, my boyfriend, my fiance, my pal. You are a intelligent and talented man: an actor, a writer, a singer-songwriter. You are kind and compassionate, honest and true. You are a good friend to your many friends. You care about others. You are an honorable man. You are unfailingly polite. You have the best laugh. The dogs adore you. I adore you. Everyone who meets you ends up adoring you. How could they not? Oh, and you can make me laugh so hard that I pee in my pants.

Here’s to a wonderful year ahead, my love.

  11. Happy Birthday Don! I still enjoy your CD once in a while, and manage to hit your youtube videos. I’ve also watched some of your TV spots on Law and Order and Rescue Me. Believe me, you don’t look anywhere close to 60, and I hope you party like you’re 30! Have the best birthday ever.

  29. my husband and i both turned 60 this month, too. me on the 14th, and he on the 23rd. yes, i’m the older woman by 9 days. and on those 9 days he doesn’t let me forget it.

    I’m sure the number sounds older than how you feel inside. At least that’s how it was for my husband when he hit this milestone. After a reasonable period of adjustment, it’s been clear sailing!

  50. Happy Birthday to your honey!! My hubby turns 59 on Tuesday. I was sitting at the beach and I told my hubby that I would take him to this fancy smancy place on his 60th birthday. He said, “you mean next year”. I was flabbergasted. I don’t even think of him being almost 60. It’s only a number!
