Blooms & Music

April 19, 2012 at 8:42 am by Claudia

Another glorious spring day here in Hartford:

Pink is everywhere in the park. As a certified pink lover, this makes me happy.

Yet another tree that looks like a human with arms outstretched.

My favorite part of the walk was encountering these two guys playing their trombones while sitting on a park bench. They had a pretty neat repertoire.

They certainly brought a smile to my face!

Happy Thursday.

    Good afternoon Claudia,
    Greetings from Portugal
I found you on Olympia’s blog
I liked the way you write ..
    super photos.
The trombone’s captured me. My father was a trombone player with the big bands.
It brought back memories. I love their sound, if played well ..its magic to the ears..
Hope to see you my way
    best wishes
    Happy thursday

Good morning Claudia, Glad to hear that your stroll through the park brought a smile to your face. I’m sure the trombone players made it even more enjoyable.

Now, that is my idea of a perfect walk. A bit of music to sooth your soul, trees with stories to tell and pinks to make you smile.

    I’m sending you a smile, Claudia.♥

Thanks for those photos, Claudia! You certainly are blessed with that beautiful park you can walk in. Perhaps it can make up a bit for not being at home. Hope you’re feeling a bit better. I know that you’ll feel much better when you’re finished with the assignment. But then don’t you think it’s good to get an assignment once in a while? It keeps you from getting rusty, I would think. It keeps your teaching skills sharpened and forces you to mingle with people. You’re always at home alone most of the time since Don works. Anyways, keep your little chin up, will you! This too will pass, as they say. Who says? I don’t know. At the moment, it’s me. Hah Hah! And now, I have to go and spray paint that little metal bed I made for my dollhouse! After that, I have to get dressed and go do some errands. I like to keep busy!

Looks like a little sunshine happened today. Love the tree as well.
I’d send you some plants if I had some…..my yard is all weeds. How do they send plants to Brenda without them dying. I think it’s cute that she will have a blogger garden.
Hope that you get to go home again soon. Is it any quieter since your last move? (((((HUGS))))

Welcome!

Welcome!

I live in a little cottage in the country with my husband. It's a sweet place, sheltered by old trees and surrounded by gardens. The inside is full of the things we love. I love to write, I love my camera, I love creating, I love gardening. My decorating style is eclectic; full of vintage and a bit of whimsy.

I've worked in the theater for more years than I can count. I'm currently a voice, speech, dialect and text coach freelancing on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional theater.

Thanks for stopping by.
