I have two posts up today. If you’re interested in my book review, just scroll down one post. I’m giving away one of my copies.
I played with the table and Mabel (the Featherweight) yesterday afternoon.
Mabel/table – a nice little rhyme.
My intention is to have a place to display her. If I have a big project going, it will likely end up on the kitchen table, which has a lot of surface space.
I added these. I used glue dots, so I can easily remove them if I look at them one day and think they are too cutesie. And that might be today. They are sort of a signature look for me. What do you think?
I’ll leave it this way for now. Everything is subject to change, however. If I start a project and this drives me nuts, the table will go.
Thanks for all of your great suggestions – you are such a help! So many of them were good and entirely logical, but if you’ve never actually been in this hallway, it’s hard to imagine how difficult it is to maneuver. The hallway itself is fine, but with the addition of the bookcase and the cabinet and needing easy access to the bathroom, bedroom and guest room/office/study, I have to be very careful about what I add. It works now. That doesn’t mean, however, that I don’t curse at times when I’m trying to do something.
I cursed a few times yesterday.
I’m thinking it’s time for a solid color skirt around that sewing table. Hmmm. I think I have a job for Mabel.
Happy Wednesday.
