not to be snoopy or a creeper or presumptive, but i am 100% sure that i’m not the only one zooming in for close-ups of all the wonderful things that you and don have in your studio! :)
as a result of my zooming, some questions: is that a painting of sweet henry in the back-right corner of your desk? did you paint it? looks very well done. and have you seen him (or phileas again) this summer? hope so.
thanks for sharing!
happy, safe weekend to everyone.

Yes, it was painted by reader Shanna, who also painted all 3 of our dogs.
Henry left this world long ago, Kathy. But we always have a groundhog living on the property. We just don’t name them anymore.
No, we haven’t seen Phileas. He only shows up in the spring. And since the county re-dug the culverts – which are much deeper now – we might not see him next spring. Though, I sure hope we do.
Stay safe.
i remember shanna’s paintings of your sweet dogs. nice of her to paint one of henry, too. she is very talented.
hope the culvert work is done forever and didn’t chase phileas away.
thanks, claudia.

Your ‘corners’ are far more interesting than my ‘corners’!! Enjoy your weekend! ;)
Thank you, Donnamae.

The finished bed looks so beautiful in the room. The craftmanship and the way it sits in the room are just perfect. I have to admit, though, that bold red coverlet is pretty, but it definitely steals the spotlight. Just a thought from a friendly observer who is enjoying the whole project. But truly, whatever you end up choosing …. you always sprinkle a little magic into that dollhouse, and it’s a joy to watch it come together.
I want it to steal the spotlight. That’s the whole point of it!
Thanks, Maria.

Good morning Claudia! I love seeing the Beacon Hill in all it’s grand scale in your tiny so well organized space. The things we do for our projects! ! And the glimpses into the corners are sweet. Have a peaceful weekend!
Thank you, Betsy! There’s no way to hide the Beacon Hill, is there? Or tuck it away in a corner?
Stay safe,
Happy Saturday.
