to quote from a todd rundgren song:
“.. why should we be happy? there is beauty in the world …!”
claudia, thanks for sharing with us some of the beauty in your part of the world. :)
happy, safe weekend to all.

ps … the todd rundgren song is “i love my life”. highly recommended, especially live versions, and especially especially if he has a gospel choir singing with him!
Thank you, Kathy.

Good Morning Claudia! What a beautiful “Fall Photo Essay” this is! Just exquisite! I have a smaller yard to photo and not much “wilderness” to it… but the corner of my garden that got out of control this year is rife with asters and goldenrod. This morning as I was looking at the closed up asters (they do that at night!) I could swear one of them had a bumblebee sleeping inside the blossom! I could see a leg sticking out and the blossom was fat and dark inside! I have never seen that before! Nature is amazing, but yes, a tinge melancholic for me… the darkness closing in is a thing I have to work at accepting. Thank you for sharing your corners!
Oh, how wonderful! I hope that bee was able to fly off when the aster re-opened.
The darkness is hard for me, too.
Stay safe, Betsy.
Beautiful photography, Claudia. Autumn is definitely on its way here. I have the heating on at the moment.
Happy Saturday
Yes, it’s here. Next week will be much cooler for us. A definite change in the weather.
Stay safe, Dee Dee.
I like all the photos but I am especially drawn to the second one. I would like to make a watercolor of it.
I do enjoy your “Corners” posts very much.
Take Care,
Kaye
Thank you so much, Kaye.
